Domain RenewalsYou should receive a Renewal Notice from us via email about 15-20 days in advance of when your domain is about to expire. At that time, you will be given the option to renew. Not renewing promptly could result in you losing the registration for the next term. Renewals are charged at the same competitive rates as our Domain Registration fees. If you would like to renew a domain you can call us free on (UK) 0800 01 22 811. Only domain names that are registered with us currently can be renewed. Note: If you wish to renew domains that are registered with another registrar, you need to transfer them to us first. Please email or call us for further instructions. The total number of years you can register a domain name is 10 years for all (non) .uk extensions. All .uk extensions can only be renewed for 2 years at a time. Disclaimer: Although we will attempt to remind you before your domain expires, it is ultimately your responsibility as the domain owner to monitor the expiry date and renew your domain in time. We will not be responsible for your inability to receive our renewal notice for any reason.
Domain TransfersIf you have previously registered a Domain Name with another provider and would like to move them to our system so that we can assist you with managing and updating them as part of a webdesign project, we are able to submit a transfer request to your current provider, on your behalf. We do not charge for this service, but we understand that some providers will charge you a fee for moving your domain away from them. This is not something we approve of, but unfortunately we do not have control over this, so any fees will be payable directly to your previous/current provider. For .co.uk domain transfers there is currently no charge, however, we do charge a fee of £8.50 + VAT to transfer .com, .net, .org, .info, .us and .biz domain names, which includes an additional year's renewal along with the transfer.
